The Urban Oasis, that has come to be known as “Paloma Del Norte”, is a contributing adobe structure in the Downtown and Eastside Historic District of Santa Fe.
We purchased the property 22 years ago, and have made steady improvements over the years with the intention of future retirement in Santa Fe. Seeing that we are a few years away from making that dream a reality, we offer it for lease on a limited basis.
The adobe walled enclosed property is situated in a premier Santa Fe location. The one-minute walk to Canyon Road offers viewing, shopping and dining opportunities like no other. Mature trees, landscaping and off-street parking are common to both the main house (Casa) and smaller guest house (Casita). Because of layout, construction and location, each unit maintains a private entry for pedestrians and automobiles and is separately addressed and metered. While the Casita is a Licensed Short Term Rental, our preference is for a longer term lease by qualified applicants who know Santa Fe and will take care of our home. The pricing structure reflects that preference. The Casa is unfurnished and is offered as more permanent housing with one or two-year lease terms.

Lawn and garden are irrigated automatically.

This historic Santa Fe home is offered unfurnished. Recently remodeled, the original floor plan has a large entry portal and living room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, galley kitchen (gas range, dishwasher, microwave), utility space with on-demand hot water heater and washer/dryer, wood floors, and remote controlled gate for off street parking. The home also includes a 120 sq.ft. studio/sun room space with private entry and patio. Lease includes water/sewer and trash removal services. Lawn and garden are irrigated automatically.
